Wherever you are starting from, our registered nurses take the time to assess your features and talk through your concerns, the skin treatment options that may be suitable, and the considerations and risks involved.

At Biba Cosmetic Solutions, a facial volume consultation looks at your face as a whole. Depending on your concerns, your nurse may assess and discuss:
Changes in mid-face fullness and how the area sits within your face
The lower face and how it balances with the rest of your features
Concerns about hollows and shadowing under the eyes
Hollowing at the temples and overall facial balance
The lines around the nose and mouth are assessed in the context of your whole face.
Our AHPRA-registered cosmetic nurses and clinicians take time to understand your concerns and walk through the entire process, so you know exactly what to expect if you choose to go ahead with an appropriate treatment following your consultation.
Your nurse examines your face, how it's changed over time, where fullness may have changed, and how everything sits together.
We’ll take you through the approaches that may suit you, what each involves, the considerations and any risks. This is the time to ask about anything you’re unsure about.
If you decide to go ahead, your nurse will explain the process and what you can expect. Any recommendations are based on your assessment, medical history, features, concerns and treatment goals.
If you proceed with a treatment, your nurse will give you aftercare guidance specific to that treatment, a point of contact, and arrange a follow-up to see how you are settling.
When you come in for your consultation at our Parramatta clinic, your nurse will explain what the treatment involves, what happens during the appointment, and what to expect afterwards. Any cosmetic treatment carries risks, and recovery will be different for everyone. During your consultation, we’ll talk through the risks and possible side effects so you can make an informed decision.
Swelling, tenderness or bruising in the treated area are common, and how much or how long these side effects will last will vary person to person. While less common, serious complications can occur. Your nurse will explain what to look out for and how to contact us if you have concerns.
Biba Cosmetic Solutions is a nurse-led clinic. Our team of AHPRA-registered nurses and certified dermal clinicians is trained in facial balancing and harmonisation, so we assess your whole face rather than treating one area on its own.
Biba is our Director and Senior Registered Nurse (AHPRA reg. NMW0001624955), with 15 years of nursing experience. She started in Neurology, Stroke and Trauma at St George Hospital before moving into cosmetic aesthetics, and she's known for thorough facial assessments and honest, personalised guidance.
Hydie is our Registered Cosmetic and Dermal Nurse (AHPRA reg. NMW0002693693), with seven years of experience across laser treatments, skin rejuvenation, anti-ageing and facial aesthetics, with a calm, supportive approach throughout the consultation process.

We start with a thorough facial assessment and a conversation about your concerns and goals, such as a loss of fullness, changes in contour or facial balance. Your nurse talks through the options that may suit you, what each involves, the considerations and the risks, and answers your questions. There is no obligation to go ahead on the day.
Your consultation will be with one of our AHPRA-registered nurses or dermal clinicians. Biba Cosmetic Solutions is nurse-led, with AHPRA-registered nurses and certified dermal clinicians who take the time to understand your goals and explain your options.
No. A consultation is only for an assessment and a conversation. It can end with information and no treatment. No treatment is carried out without your informed consent.
Your facial volume will naturally change with age as your collagen, fat and bone gradually shift, which can make your cheeks, temples or under-eyes look flatter or more hollow. We also see that factors such as extended sun exposure, smoking, chronic stress or rapid weight loss can play a part too. At your consultation, your nurse assesses the areas where these changes are noticeable and talks through your options.
Common areas we discuss include the cheeks, chin and jawline, tear troughs, temples, and the lines around the nose and mouth. We look at your face as a whole and talk through which areas are relevant to your concerns and goals.
Any treatment outcomes are temporary and vary from person to person, depending on the individual, the area treated and the treatment approach. Your nurse will discuss what may be realistic for you during your consultation.
Suitability comes down to an individual assessment. Some treatments are generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with certain medical conditions or allergies. That is what your consultation is for, so bring your full medical history.
Any cosmetic treatment carries risks, and they depend on the specific treatment and on you as an individual. During your consultation, a nurse will explain the relevant risks, possible side effects and recovery, so you understand the process and can decide on your next step.
