Why is body sculpting effective?

TruSculpt iD uses Monopolar Radiofrequency technology. When paired with the frequency pads which are used during the treatment, they allow for heat to travel deep through the dermis, fat, and into the muscle layer.

After a 15-minute treatment, the body will begin to metabolise the fat over a 12-week period through a phase called apoptosis (programmed cell death) as you go about your normal lifestyle.

How does the fat dissolve?

When fat cells are heated to a temperature of over 45ºC in the fat layer, it causes them to “stress” and diminish through the process of lipolysis, which is the process of the body breaking down fat cells due to therapeutic heat. The second phase of fat cell breakdown then takes place, known as apoptosis, eliminating the fat cells with permanent results.
