Let’s start by talking about Biba. Tell us who you are.

Yeah, just because I’m sure that there are so many new people out there, let’s start fresh. Who are you?

I’m Biba, obviously. I’m Hydie’s older sister. Yes, we are 12 years apart and we are biological sisters. They still will not believe it. No, we will do a DNA test one day, and we will show you guys. I’ve been nursing since I was 18. I’m 36 years old now as of Christmas day.

I’ve been obsessed with medicine and everything anti-aging since forever. I was in medical nursing, in stroke, neurology, and trauma, for so many years until I was 26, and I started aesthetics around 24–25. I’ve been in the aesthetics game for a very long time now. I opened the clinic nearly seven years ago.

When Biba started the clinic, it was the week I finished my HSC in high school. The next day, I started full-time work with Biba. I always had a passion for beauty, skincare, and aesthetics. Everyone who knew me growing up knew I had an extensive skincare routine and kept up with trends and makeup.

The most rewarding part of our job is helping people feel better about themselves, combat issues they’ve been having, and see them flourish and feel confident. Once I did that one time, I became addicted. I just wanted more. We did a dermal therapy degree, a nursing degree, and now, seven years later, here I am, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Biba used to save lives in the hospital, and now she saves faces. It’s a different kind of reward because people’s appearances impact their mental health and confidence. You literally can’t put a price on building someone’s confidence in a half-hour appointment. Long-term clients are special; we’ve seen them go from dates to engagements to having kids. It’s amazing to be part of their lives.

When we opened the clinic, we always prioritised quality service and premium consultations. We ask ourselves: Is this the best option for our clients? Will it give them the results they want?

A lot of people ask how often we’ll produce episodes and where you can watch them.

Once our podcast launches, you’ll be able to listen and watch on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and iHeart Radio. Snippets and clips will also be on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Episodes will go live every Wednesday. As we progress, you might get two episodes a week—you just never know.

There are only two of us, and we have countless inside jokes, fake names for when we’re in public, and shared experiences. Our bond is unique, and we wouldn’t trade it for a third sister.

Our legacy is to have a powerful impact, whether through work, life, or raising each other. Many of our clients are mothers or young women navigating life milestones. We aim to educate and support through the podcast and our Sydney clinic.

We prioritise quality over influencers. We never offer free treatments or pay people to promote our services. Our clients know what to expect, and we only deliver the best experience with premium results.

We love to travel. Last year, we visited Paris, London, Dubai, Switzerland, Monaco, and Lebanon. Paris is my favorite, and I could die there happily. London was a letdown compared to Paris. We plan to travel to Japan and Prague this year, and Lebanon twice—summer and winter—because it feels like home.
